This New Update from Google Giving the Priority to the Local Services

Whenever you try to search on Google it always tries to gives best possible search results that are relevant to you and to deliver better results to the searchers Google always comes with a new algorithm update.

According to the Google one out of fives searches are related to the local services. To serve the local customers in a better way, Google has come with the new location based update to give better search results. To improve the user experience, your location determines the country specific results for you across the Google search and maps. Previously all these things were handled through the “country code top level domain name” (ccTLD) e.g. if you are in India then you will use (google.co.in) and for UK you will see all results under (google.co.uk) or you may have typed the country specific domain in your browser.

With the new update from Google it will show the search results based on your location on across its platforms such as Mobile Web, Google app for iOS, desktop searches. In order if you change the ccTLD in your browser it will only displays results based upon your country location. In case if you travel from one country to another country your search results will automatically changed according to the country location you are in.

If for some reason you don't see the right country when you're browsing, you can still go into settings and select the correct country service you want to receive. In addition, Google is displaying in the bottom of search result page for which country services you are currently using.

This update will help ensure that you get the most relevant results based on your location and is consistent with how Google already manages our services across a number of our other platforms. For more details visit Google blog.
